"Dear
Joe (Piane):
I just wanted
to let you know once again how
pleased we were with our wedding
reception. From start to finish,
the entire process of planning
the wedding reception was practically
effortless and very much enjoyable.
The reception
turned out absolutely wonderful.
The food was delicious and raved
about by all of our guests. The
wedding cake was out of this world!
In addition, your staff was very
friendly and professional. Everyone
was quite impressed with the entire
event. Thanks again for everything."

The Ballroom at the Phoenix
was completed in 1990. The Facility is owned and
maintained by the Reliance Volunteer Fire Company.
In January of 1980, a devastating fire struck
the company and we had to completely rebuild.
After the apparatus room was built, it was used
as the banquet facility. This lasted for approximately
5 years while the funds and final design were
being completed for a proper banquet facility.
After the new hall was built, the company decided
to give the hall a name separate from the fire
company. This was due to the fact that no one
would want their wedding in a firehouse. The name
Phoenix was suggested by long time Fire
Company friend and state senator Clarence Bell.
The company felt the name Phoenix was
appropriate since our facility had evolved from
ashes, just like the mythical bird.
In order to provide the best meal and services for
Your Guests, the company searched and interviewed
for a caterer that would offer only the
best value and provide provide top rate service
to your guests. The company entered into an agreement
with Piane’s at the Phoenix, LLC.
We are a member of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce and
the Upper Chichester Business Association.
We strive to continuously improve the Phoenix.
We recently enlarged the capacity to accommodate up to 500
people, added chandeliers, installed new carpeting and a parquet dance floor,
remodeled the restrooms, added a second set of restrooms, opened a
Larger Bar and, for those memorable pictures, added a large
6-tier, 9ft tall Water Fountain adjacent to the main entrance.
A brand new Bridal Suite is now available. Future plans include
the addition of a smaller, cozier Ballroom with accommodations
for up to 80 people.
